Pass It On

Films, songs, and cartoons people send in — fresh ways to share the life of Christ.

“The things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same things to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” — 2 Timothy 2:2

This shelf is for films, songs, and cartoons people send in. They put the life and ministry of Christ in front of someone in a fresh way, and they show how to include him in an ordinary day.

What belongs here

  • Christ is the center. The piece tells his life, his ministry, his cross, or a concrete way to include him in a real day.
  • The telling is novel. A cartoon, a song, a short film, or a scene from a story people already know.
  • You can name where it fits. A child, a friend who is grieving, a commute, a conversation that starts from something they already love.
  • The living speak to God. Grief may be carried to the Lord. A piece that speaks to the dead, or invites the living to seek a word from them, does not belong.
  • “When they tell you, ‘Consult with those who have familiar spirits and with the wizards, who chirp and who mutter,’ shouldn’t a people consult with their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?” — Isaiah 8:19

Make Way for the Lion of Judah

A cinematic worship song that pictures the throne room — crowns cast down, the Lion of Judah, and the Lamb who was slain.

In your life Play it when praise at home has gone thin, or with someone who only pictures Jesus as gentle. It is a song, not a reading of the chapter. Afterward open Revelation 4 and 5 and let the Bible say it.

The Bible Retold in Minecraft: Genesis

WayGoot retells creation, the garden, the fall, Cain and Abel, and Noah as a Minecraft film.

In your life Watch a stretch with a child or a friend who knows Minecraft and does not know Genesis. Then open the Bible to the same story. The film simplifies the book, so Genesis is the text you trust.

    Vegeta Questions God's Grace

A Dragon Ball scene in which Vegeta says a lifetime of blood cannot be balanced by later victories. The answer is the vineyard owner who pays the last workers a full day's wage.

In your life Use it with someone who loves anime and thinks they are too far gone, or with a believer who quietly ranks people by how long they have been good. Grace is the owner's generosity, not a wage for effort.
